This is one of the first Signature Limited Edition snares from Yamaha, probably from the 80's..apparently only about 500 pieces were built, 14X4 made of 6-ply birch.
a sophisticated snare mechanism stands out, I would say the first signature snare that Yamaha produced. A nice collector's item without rust or any other damage, noble sounding, especially for very high and dry snare sound, excellent for brush work. The condition is excellent. Some minor cosmetics from age but looks good
