Ekits are for reliable triggering, no false triggering. Doc o matics are for easily putting the pedals on and off. One rubber holder tip on doc o matics was replaced
The ekits are $80 each and the doc's are $95 each . Pedals new $329.99 each so total new was $1010 new plus shipping or tax (not including damnars which are also $20-30 each even though original beaters not included)
