Tama Artstar Cordia 8pc Double Bass Exotic Drum Set kit!

These vintage kits are harder to come by especially kits with 10" tom and 22" kicks and double bass!! This model is a later 84-85 model with the script badge which they made with sharper edges that the 82-83 models which had the block badges. The wood is Cordia with inner plys of birch. Check out youtube for sound samples. These were the flagship kits even more expensive than the superstars at the time. They sound powerful similar to bubinga type woods.

Condition wise I would rate the drums as good/very good for a almost 40 year old set. Each drum has some minor marks/scratch spots here and there. Some of them (22,10,16, maybe another) have some polyurethane outer clear coat wear which is common with some of these era drums but doesnt effect the sound but you can see the wood of the two bass drums tint is slightly off as a example.

Does have some marks and oxidation/age on the hardware so the hardware could use a polish with some rust on the floor tom legs but that can be cleaned up . Does have the original mirror front heads but one of the heads has some bubbling and the other a hole cut. See pictures for condition.

So overall not bad but not perfect. Still a higher end beautiful set . These are the drums I personally play

AS far as shipping i will only ship to the US 48 STATES. Regarding packing them .... I wont stack any drums inside each other when shipping but to ship them they will be in new boxes taped well filled with tight with peanuts. I do this to save costs .Havent had a issue but be aware if they are packed tight with peanuts may require some time to cleanup after unpacking.
